After Kajal Agrawal opting out of Mahesh - Sukumar movie due to call sheet problems, Tamanna was approached and the deal was almost finalized. But Tamanna too couldn't accommodate bulk dates for the film and hence the makers have now approaching Deepika Padukone.
This would be the first ever film for Deepika in Telegu. Despite being among the top heroines league for so long, Deepika never acted in a Telugu movie till date. She paired opposite almost all the top heroes in Bollywood but somehow missed out Tollywood film.
Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are producing this movie on 14 Reels Entertainments banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
